The road division of Laclede County Sheriff’s Office is supervised by Chief Deputy Mark Gregory and consists of 10 road officers, 5 bailiffs, 2 civil servers and 2 detectives.
The road division provides a full range of law enforcement services to the citizens of Laclede County. Among the services are answering calls for service, from routine calls to life threatening emergencies and crime scene investigation. In addition, the road officers provide back up and mutual aid assistance to various city police departments and other law enforcement agencies when necessary.
All deputies are licensed within the guidelines of the Mo. Peace Officer Standards and Training Commission. Each deputy is required to receive P.O.S.T. continuing education training on a regular basis to maintain their license and remain current in their field.
